more time than a short inspection. Best results can be obtained if you are able to be present during the inspection.
As to the inspection, consider this---
- Before closing on any home purchase or investment property purchase
- When thinking of selling your home so you'll know what issues buyers will want repaired
- For an overall inventory of your home's condition
- Consider water and radon testing
- Most search companies charge a fee to the inspector that they recommend
I strongly encourage all of our clients to accompany us during the inspection. I encourage you to ask me any questions you may have during the inspection process. I will point out issues or problems and explain them to you. I will also show you the good points of the house as well. Plus, I will explain what routine maintenance is needed to keep the house in top condition. This should help you to get the most benefit from the inspection and gain the most understanding of the systems and components that make up your home.
You'll get a comprehensive report that is easy to understand. Everything identified during the inspection will be included in the report. I use the ITA Matrix inspection report.[combiation of check list, and narrative report] In most cases , the report will be filled in, on site for your benefit In some cases I will also send, Via Email, an addendum with overview and pictures to help in understanding the report.
